A good coffee means an indispensable pleasure when you wake up or during a chat with friends. Everyone loves Espresso properly done, a symbol of Italian lifestyle in the world but only few know the secrets to get it, the criteria to distinguish among qualities, the stages of the attractive travel from the plantation to the cup. In order to offer a fragrant and tasty drink to their customers, or simply to the guests, it is necessary the knowledge of the raw material, the domain of the roasting process but also a great passion.
Where to apply? From this year in the surroundings of Bari there is a right place: Roasting Training Center of Michele Battista, in Triggiano. It is a laboratory of coffee culture in which the grain is the object of care, experience and attention from three generations. The Centre has ambitious goals: improvement and updating of the professional skills, but also the promotion of the state of Italian Espresso’s art in order to increase consumer awareness and to promote the spread of total quality. All this in an evolving path, guided by experts and with the help of the International Institute of Coffee Tasters, but above all with full attention to the needs of operators.
